Nose: Intense aromas with predominate fruit accents of fresh pear, apples and lemon peel. Hints of freshly cut grass and white flowers, with a slight background aroma of granite rock.

Palate: The wine is smooth with a spark. It shows a well-balanced tartness with subtle mineral notes.

There is a long persistent finish.

Nose: Aromatic herbs, bay, mint, white flowers, citrus fruit (lemon peel and grapefruit), and pine, with a mineral/stone and fine lees background.

Palate:  Fresh, unctuous with good structure. Citrus fruits and peach, full bodied with an astringent finish.

Attractive cherry red color with purple trim, which reveals its youth. Intense aromas of fruit compote, blackberries and raspberries, giving way to pleasant notes of clean oak, with hints of cocoa and toffee. It enters the mouth smoothly and develops fully in the center of the mouth, intermingling notes of fruit and oak. The final taste is long and sweet, inviting you to drink a second glass.

A SWEET WINE SURPRISING FOR ITS FRESHNESS AND COMPLEXITY: Pale yellow with greenish reflections. Its aromatic expression is not usual in sweet wines due to its exceptional combination of vegetable notes and tropical fruits, memories of fresh cut grass and a hint of minerality. On the mouth there is a pleasant and very fine velvety sensation. It keeps the features of the grape Sauvignon Blanc, a fresh and clean elegance. It is a high intense wine, well-structured and long, round. There is a perfect combination among acid, alcohol and sugar.

An opaque ruby colour. Powerful, plentiful, seductive blackberry and blackcurrant aromas including baking spices and floral qualities. Soft, silky and impressively pure, with vibrant dark berry flavours and fine-grained tannins. Surprisingly juicy and persistent with excellent saturation and clarity on the palate.

The 2011 Arrocal Seleccion is pure Tempranillo with ripe, minty aromas. It is quite showy and attractive with balsamic notes of cola nut, quite marked by the oak. It has enough intensity of fruit to keep the oak in the background, both in nose and palate. The tannins are polished and plump, and there seems to be enough acidity. It feels remarkably fresh for a warm vintage like 2011.

On the palate, this wine shows ripe peach and distinct herbs (oregano, mint) with very soft wood and bitter almond notes. Ripe citrus fruits with a touch of anise seed. Its well-balanced acidity with a  bitter aftertaste. This Albariño has good body with cinnamon touches from wood and eucalyptus.

Cherry red. Medium to very deep. Clean and bright Very complex, medium intensity. Lingering notes of red berry fruits and ripe blackberries. We also find touches of cedar, tobacco and some hints of pastry, toasted very subtle. Subtlety and balance between varietal and oak hints. Sweet entry, the French oak tannins brought great elegance. Balanced acidity brings the wine alive. Lingering. Black mulberries and toffees come through again.
A2O 'Sobre Lias'

Clean and intensely fresh wine that exhibits all the typical characteristics of the Albariño grape variety. 

Ripe and aromatic, with overtones of peach, melon and honey, offset by a crisp tangy acidity that helps to balance the rich fruit flavors. A well-rounded wine with a long, mellow, honeyed finish. 

AALTO

Deep purple red colour. On the nose notes of cherry and raspberry with subtle aromas of spice and well integrated wood emerge. The palate is fresh with high density volume. The typical flavours of the Tempranillo are all present- liquorice, roasted coffee and fresh tobacco. 

This wine is smooth and could be drunk from the first moment because of its roundness, balanced tannins and good acidity.

AALTO 2017 will gain complexity over the years. 

AALTO PS

An intense red colour wine that offers a wide range of aromas-from fresh and red fruit to compote alongside elegant and spiced notes provided by an impeccable wood aging. The palate is powerful, broad and harmoniously fresh.

AALTO PS 2017 needs to be kept in bottle for some years to offer its best.

It can be drunk now although after the third year in bottle will gain complexity and balance.

Distinctive character as a result of the “coupage” of our distinct varieties (Albariño, Loureiro and Caiño Blanco). Complex aromatic nuances, where fresh and mature fruits converge. High-intensity, with hints of stone fruits and tropical touches of mango and passionfruit.

A well-structured wine with tingling vivacity, well-balanced on the palate. Long, persistent aftertaste while respecting the aromas and flavors of the varieties.

Abadia la Arroyada in Oak Barrel

In the privacy of our subterranean winery, the fruit of the selected grapes from our vineyards rests for 10 months in oak barrels. Decanting, the wine envelops the glass with a clean deep red color and violet hues; a bouquet to mature fruits and spicy and subtle tones wakes up our senses. In the mouth it is tasty and well balanced, leaving a lasting delicate aftertaste.

In the mouth it has a nice medium-high acidity, fresh and salty. Frank and fruity with some mineral background, long, tasty finale.

On the nose, the 2018 vintage is characterised by its intense, fresh aromas of tropical fruit, with ripe pineapple and banana in the foreground, alongside delicate aromas of white fruit such as apple and pear. These aromas are enhanced by pre-fermentation cold maceration. On the palate it exhibits freshness, power and balance. The fresh and vibrant acidity of an excellent Albariño is wrapped in a great breadth of flavour. It is a bright, very lively, pleasant, velvety wine - the result of a vintage characterised by its good maturation. All in all, a well-balanced and attractive wine. It reveals a great variety of retronasal notes of white and tropical fruit, with a powerful and very long finish.

Our wines are supervised by the family that runs the winery and vineyards, since it is a bud in the Tempranillo vine until the wine is launched to the market. The result is a purple red colored wine, brilliant and clean in appearance.In the nose it reminds us of the harvest of wild fruits. The noticeable dairy aroma and a slight spicy touch captivate us.Tasting the wine is unavoidable to appreciate the pleasant experience of a rounded and well-balanced taste.

Opaque ruby colour. Perfume of exotic blackberry, plum jam, cola, oak, spice and incense aromas. Fruity aromas. exuberant, spicy, dark-layered palate raised and shared by the gentle acidity. Hangs on with real authority, leaving smoky and spicy notes. From now on, the wine is velvety, ready for drinking now and perfect for drinking with a piece of grilled or roast lamb in autumn.
