Third generation winemaker, Heraclio Veganzones has continued the family tradition of winemaking started by his grandfather, Eliseo Veganzones in 1956. An agricultural engineer, he completed his education with a degree in Enology from the University of Valladolid in Spain. After starting his career as a winemaker at some other wineries , he began making his own wine. Two years after culminating this project, he officially inaugurated Bodegas Veganzones with his brothers.
He is responsible of developing the brand “Altitud912” with wines sourced from their specific terroirs: Limestone, Clay and Sand.
